Founded On: September 13, 2001


Why:
I heard "AM To PM" on the radio and was amazed! It was such a fun song and well sung! So, I jumped on the computer to try and find more information about this Christina Milian. I went on her official site and saw letters from her to the fans and was impressed. I also heard some more of her songs and loved her sound. I also noticed that there weren't any fan domains for her. I thought that she deserved one, so I decided upon ChristinaMilian.org; the first fan domain.

I started the site out at Doteasy.com. For a starting site, they were perfect and the hosting was free. But soon, CM.org started to get really popular and their plan wasn't suitable for CM.org anymore. I moved the site to Powweb.com, and I've recently moved it from that company. If you want customer service, that's not the place to host your site.

Currently, CM.org is residing on a secure and roomy dedicated server. CM.org receives much too much traffic for anything less!


Highlights:
Over the past 2 years, there have been a ton of highlights for CM.org! The first one came with Christina's approval of the site. She posted several very encouraging messages at One In A Milian. I was so honored that she visited and loved the site.

Another highlight was when I came to be in contact with Christina and stay in touch with her. She doesn't have to keep in touch with her fans, but she goes above and beyond the call of a celebrity. Not only does she help me to keep her fans updates (many think that this is her official site), but I feel honored that I can call her a friend. Thank you, Christina.

Another highlight was teaming up with the awesome girls over at Kriselen.com to bring the fans the Meet Christina Milian and Melissa Schuman Contest. One lucky fan was flown out to L.A., on the set of Christina's movie, to meet her. Even though, I couldn't meet Christina, it made me extremely happy that a fan got this amazing opportunity.

The most largest highlight was being flown to Los Angeles (courtesy of Christina) to meet her and attend the premiere of her movie Love Don't Cost A Thing. Christina was so hospitable. She took time out of her busy day to invite me to her hotel to hang out. She had a million things to do that day, but still took some time for me. Again, she goes above and beyond any expecations. I am so glad to be supporting such an amazing person, talent, and friend with this site. Shortly after that trip, CM.org became Christina's official fansite.

In the years since first meeting Christina face-to-face, we've maintained a great relationship, not just for the site, but also as friends. She invited me to attend several of her shows when she was touring with Usher, and it was great to spend some more time with her.

ChristinaMilian.org has graduated from "official fan site" to "official web site" as Christina and Milian Corp. own the rights to this domain as well as christinamilianfans.org (which houses her fan forum). You can even catch our URLs in Christina's CD booklets and promo materials.


The Future:
Big things are coming for Christina's career! She has some ideas of where she wants CM.org to go in the future, and I will do whatever I can to help us all get there!
